The C8 is built around a single coaxial transducer — a low-frequency woofer and a high-frequency compression driver sharing a common acoustic axis. Every sound in the reproduced signal originates from the same physical point in space. There is no geometric offset between bass and treble. No phase error between drivers. No arrival time difference across the listening window. This is point-source coherence — the same principle used in professional cinema sound systems worldwide, now in a domestic cabinet sized for any room position.

The C8 uses a fully sealed acoustic enclosure — no ports, no passive radiators, no tuning compromises. Sealed alignment gives the woofer a controlled, linear rear environment, resulting in 12 dB/octave roll-off below resonance rather than the steeper, less controlled behavior of ported designs. Combined with the driver's high mechanical damping characteristic and aluminum demodulation ring for reduced inductance nonlinearity, the result is bass that is taut, well-defined, and precisely handed off to the subwoofer at the system crossover point.

Directivity.

The integrated aluminum horn surrounding the high-frequency driver maintains a consistent 100° dispersion angle across the entire HF bandwidth. Constant directivity is critical for immersive cinema: every seat in the room receives the same spectral balance. Surrounds that beam at high frequencies create a narrow sweet spot and uneven coverage. The C8's horn geometry eliminates that problem, making it equally at home as a side-surround, rear surround, or overhead Atmos speaker regardless of how far listeners sit from the cabinet.

The C8's 100° constant-dispersion horn ensures wide, even coverage from ceiling and upper-wall positions. Atmos height channels demand precise arrival-angle control — the sealed coaxial design delivers identical tonality regardless of the listening position's distance from the driver axis.

Side & Rear Surround

For 7.1 and 9.1 configurations the C8 excels as a side-wall surround. Its slim 220mm depth integrates into dedicated millwork or mounts directly to a wall bracket. The point-source coaxial prevents the comb filtering and directional confusion that characterize conventional multi-driver surrounds at close listening distances.

Compact Main LCR

In rooms below 25 square metres, the C8 operates effectively as a left, center, and right speaker in a 5.1 or 7.1 system. Its 70 Hz low-frequency extension provides meaningful vocal and effects content before handing off to the subwoofer — a textbook seamless integration with the C-Series subwoofer system.
