Description

The reference point-source cinema speaker.

Why Coaxial for LCR

One source.
Three channels.
No compromise.

A conventional three-way LCR speaker places its tweeter and midrange at different heights. Every listener at a different vertical position hears a different phase relationship between those drivers. The sound changes depending on where you sit. In a cinema with multiple rows, this is not an aesthetic problem — it is a fundamental limitation.

The C10 uses a single coaxial transducer, placing both the low-frequency driver and the high-frequency compression driver on the same acoustic axis. Every listener in every seat receives acoustically identical signal. There is no seating position penalty. No off-axis colouration. No arrival time mismatch between bass and treble. Just a single coherent wavefront, as the recording engineer intended.

"The point source is not a design aesthetic. It is the correct solution to the physics of multi-row listening. The C10 does not approximate it — it achieves it."

LF Sensitivity

96dB

At 1 watt, 1 metre. Full neodymium motor with aluminium demodulation ring.
Dispersion Angle

110°

Widest in the C-Series. Constant across the entire HF bandwidth. Every seat covered.
Motor Architecture

Full neodymium.
Both drivers.
One magnet assembly.

The C10 differs from the C8 in one critical respect beyond size: its low-frequency driver uses a neodymium ring magnet, not ferrite. The same material used in the HF compression driver. The result is a unified motor philosophy across both transducers — higher flux density at 1.25T versus 1.12T in the C8, a lighter moving assembly, and tighter dynamic control at all power levels.

The aluminium demodulation ring reduces inductance nonlinearity across the voice coil travel range, which means bass transients are rendered with exceptional speed and definition — exactly the quality that separates premium cinema installations from adequate ones.
HF Compression Driver

107 dB.
Ketone polymer.
1.7 kHz crossover.

The high-frequency section uses a 37mm aluminium voice coil on a Kapton former, driven by a neodymium ring magnet to a sensitivity of 107 dB — 2 dB above the C8. The annular ketone polymer diaphragm provides the high internal damping needed to suppress breakup resonances while keeping moving mass low enough for clean 20 kHz extension.

The minimum crossover frequency of 1.7 kHz means the compression driver operates well within its comfort zone in any properly implemented active crossover. The 110° integrated horn provides consistent coverage across rows and positions — the same tonal balance whether you sit 2 metres from the screen or 7.
Frequency Response

65 Hz to
20 kHz.
Unbroken.

From the lower midrange through the top octave, the C10 operates as a single coherent source. The LF driver handles 65 Hz through the 1.7 kHz crossover point; the compression driver takes over through 20 kHz. Both drivers share the same acoustic axis — the transition between them is invisible in time and space.

The C8 cabinet is engineered to the minimum acoustic volume demanded by the driver's Thiele-Small parameters — no excess, no compromise. At 220mm depth it can mount flush to a wall, sit on a dedicated stand, or integrate into millwork without demanding significant projection into the room.

Warranty

Ten years. Transferable.

Full coverage on drivers, crossover components, cabinet, and finish. No registration required. Transferable to a second owner.

Support

AV Integration Support

Engineering consultation on crossover settings, active filter implementation, and system integration with Trinnov, StormAudio, and Anthem processors. Included.

Finish options

Five finishes. All hand-applied. All to specification.

Each finish is applied in controlled stages. Coats are flat-sanded between applications. Every surface is inspected under raking light before the next layer is added. The cabinet clears our facility only when it meets a written surface specification — not a visual judgment, a documented standard.
