Q3
3-Way Floorstanding Loudspeaker
Cinema authority in its most compact form.
The C15 is the entry point into the C-Series — a sealed 15-inch subwoofer engineered to deliver reference dynamics in dedicated cinema rooms up to 30m².
Polished Aluminium.
From baffle to edge.
The cabinet is proportioned as a tall, slim slab — 500mm wide, 635mm tall, 293mm deep. At 293mm, the C15 is shallower than any competing sealed 15-inch cinema subwoofer at this performance level. It sits against a front wall without intrusion. In Obsidian or Chalk, it disappears into the room.
Cabinet specification

Neodymium ring motor — 1.1T flux
The driver uses a neodymium ring magnet motor delivering 1.1T flux density across the 100mm voice coil. The aluminium demodulation ring reduces harmonic and intermodulation distortion at high excursion — audibly significant during sustained cinema use at reference levels. The motor is the same architecture as drivers used in professional touring systems worldwide.
Sealed Qtc 0.57 — optimal DSP alignment
The C15 is tuned to Qtc 0.57 — a deliberately chosen alignment below Butterworth (0.707). This gives faster transient decay, lower excursion demand at resonance, and a monotonically decreasing rolloff that room correction processors handle with maximum efficiency. Every major cinema processor — Trinnov, Dirac Live, Anthem ARC, Audyssey MultEQ XT32 — corrects this rolloff automatically during calibration.
293mm depth — the slimmest 15″ sealed
The C15 cabinet is 293mm deep — the minimum achievable for a sealed 15-inch cinema subwoofer with correct rear driver clearance and structural integrity. This is 291mm shallower than the JL Audio Gotham and 291mm shallower than the SVS PB-4000. In a dedicated cinema room, 293mm against a front wall is essentially invisible. The performance is not.
Built to a standard.
Not a price point.
52L sealed chamber
The C15 net internal volume of 52 litres is derived directly from the driver's Thiele-Small parameters. At this volume, the driver achieves Qtc 0.57 — the target alignment for a DSP-optimised sealed cinema subwoofer. Long-fibre acoustic wool fill increases effective volume through thermal mass, further extending bass below the nominal system resonance.
293mm external depth
The driver depth of 188mm plus 50mm rear clearance plus 30mm front baffle plus 25mm rear panel gives a minimum external depth of 293mm. This is the physics floor for this driver — there is no sealed 15-inch subwoofer with correct engineering that can be shallower. V&Y has engineered to that floor. The width and height carry the acoustic volume the depth cannot.
Recessed binding posts
Two 5-way gold-plated binding posts are recessed into the rear panel — accepting bare wire up to 10mm², banana plugs, and spade terminals. The recess ensures the rear profile of the cabinet does not increase beyond the stated 293mm depth regardless of termination type. The connection plate is anodised aluminium with laser-engraved polarity marking.

Your amplifier.
Your DSP.
Your room.
Built for decades. Backed without conditions.
60 days in your room
The only meaningful audition is in your own space, on your own system. The C15 arrives at your door. You listen. If after 60 days it does not belong in that room, contact us and we arrange collection. No restocking fee. No conditions. No questions that require an answer.
Ten years. Transferable.
Full parts and labour coverage for ten years from the date of purchase. The warranty transfers to subsequent owners on private resale — register the new owner and full coverage continues. We build loudspeakers intended to last a generation. The warranty reflects that intention.
Direct to the engineers
V&Y concierge support connects you directly to the people who designed the C15 — for setup, room placement, amplifier pairing, and long-term system guidance. No call centres. No support tickets. The person who answers understands the speaker from the inside.
No intermediaries. Ever.
V&Y sells exclusively direct. No importers, no dealers, no showrooms. The price you see is the price you pay — worldwide shipping and all applicable duties and taxes included. Every element of the customer relationship remains with us, from order to ownership.
